ORGANIC MODEL - STITCH
I have created this character by looking at the disneys favorite character called stitch. I got the inspiration to create this model. The reference links are https://pin.it/3vDI7Uf,
MODELING IN MAYA
I Have Started modeling in maya because I Don't want to retopologize my model. I started blocking out my Character by using Cylinder for body, sphere for head and eyes. I started creating the body by using the respective images in the image plane in maya and by extruding and moving the vertices accordingly to the respective shapes. Creating tooth and nails by using cube by scaling it respective edges.

UV- MAPPING
I have done UV mapping for the character by started UV mapping the head first by using 3D cut and sew tool. The second part where I started to unwrap the body by using 3D cut and sew tool. The third part is that I have completed UV mapping the nose and the eyes.

TEXTURING
I have done the texturing in Substance painter by bringing the model and baked the mesh maps. I have created a Base layer, Fill layer and Paint layer in order to paint the head and ears. The second step was to create the Base layer and Fill layer to fill colour blue for the character. The same process goes for the different parts such as eyes, Nose and nails. After I have done with textures I have imported the Textures to maya. I have used Substance Painter Plugin in maya import the textures and map it to respective mesh.

LIGHTNING
I have started Lightning the scene for rendering by using Skydome Lights. I have added HDR images to the skydome lights to get better reflection out of model. After setted up the lightning I have started to render my scene with Denoiser optix which is under render settings, so that I Don't have noise in my render.

SELF- CRITIQUE
I Started modeling this chracter very late, I got stuck in modeling phase for too long, after that going through 3D production pipeline takes a huge task to do. I have learned a lot in creating this character, UV Mapping, Texturing, Lightning the scene, Setting up a turn table camera and rendering the character. I know that my Texturing and UV mapping is not what I have expected, so in future I try to do better than this.
