WEEK 1 & WEEK 2
LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF,
I am Kaliappa Rangarajan, I am from south India. I have completed my Bachelor's in Multimedia this year. Multimedia which Specializes in Art, 2D, 3D, Web design, Photography and in this categories I got very fond of 3D Animation. So after completing my Bachelor's I thought of improving my skills in the field of Animation.
And I have also learned Photoshop, 3Dsmax, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photography, Web Designing in Figma and I have got into Internship's while I was studying my Bachelor's. I worked on Creating a Web Design and Some 3D works, so I got little bit of exposure and experience but I have no experience in Maya.
Week 1- 2
HARD SURFACE MODELING PRACTICE - ROCKET
In the first week of the class they introduced us to user interface and basics of maya. And I have learned about Creating Edge lopes, N-gons and how to create a simple objects. So I tried to create a rocket model by watching video and I got an understanding of tools such as extruding and bevel.
The third Image Represents the bottom view of the model.
HARD SURFACE MODELING PRACTICE - GRENADE
The First Image Represents the Bottom view of the Model.
The second Image Represents the creation of the Top part of the model.
The Third Image Represents the Finished Stick Grenade model.
HARD SURFACE MODELING PRACTICE- USB
I have created this hard surface model by watching workshop video. what I have learned is by following each and every step which involves extruding, beveling the edges and faces , creating edge lopes by using cut tool and working on vertices. The respective Images of the model are below,

HARD SURFACE MODELING PRACTICE - DOUBLE SKIER
I have created this double skier exercise which was done Richard by second week of class. He challenged us to create this model in class but it was quite complicated for me to follow in class. so after the class the recorded session of this model making exercise is posted on canvas with that reference, I have re-watched it and achieved creating this hard surface model. The respective Images of the model are below,
The first image represent the first stage of the model which was created by using cylinder and trying to create a circle by circle cutting tool by selecting the respective faces and extruding them .The U shape is created by using cv curve tool and with the use of sweep mesh tool you can get the respective curvature of the object.
The third Image represent the final image of the finished skier model with handles fitted to it's respective sides.
